FAQ's
What are the Sculpting Strips?
Think of the Sculpting Strips as your secret weapon for body-toning! These high-quality adhesive strips are designed to target those tricky spots and help you feel more confident in your skin. Smooth out cellulite, firm up those curves, and embrace your best shape with these little wonders!
How do they work?
Magic? Almost! These strips work by supporting your body’s natural processes. Each strip anchors securely and has 10 legs that align with your body’s lymphatic pathways. This setup gently lifts the skin, promoting
circulation, draining excess fluids, and breaking down fat cells—all while you go about your day.
What are the Sculpting Strips made of?
The Sculpting Strips are crafted from a premium blend of high-quality cotton and a touch of spandex, giving them just the right amount of stretch and breathability. They’re designed to move with you while staying secure, thanks
to our special adhesive made with Henkel glue, imported all the way from Germany. It’s flexible, waterproof, and ready to stick with you through showers, workouts, and everything in between!
Are they safe for all skin types?
Absolutely! Sculpting Strips are made from hypoallergenic, latex-free cotton and use a gentle, latex-free adhesive, making them suitable for most skin types. However, if you have super-sensitive skin, we suggest doing a small patch test first, just to be sure! Your comfort and safety are our top priority.
How do the strips adhere to the skin and stay on?
Our adhesive is heat-activated, so after applying the strips, give them a good rub to get the magic going! This keeps them secure through showers, workouts, and everything in between.
What should I use to clean my skin before applying the Sculpting Strips?
To get the best adhesion and results from your Sculpting Strips, it’s essential to start with clean, dry skin. We recommend using rubbing alcohol or an alcohol-free hand sanitizer to remove any oils, dirt, or lotions that might
interfere with the adhesive. If you’re sensitive or allergic to alcohol-based products, you can also use a gentle, fragrance-free soap and water to cleanse the area thoroughly. Just be sure to let your skin dry completely before applying the strips, and avoid using any lotions or oils afterward to keep the surface ready for optimal sticking power.
Can I apply the Sculpting Strips over body hair?
It depends on the length and thickness of the hair. For best results, it’s recommended to apply the strips on clean, bare skin. If the hair is short and
fine, the strips may still adhere well. However, thicker or longer hair can interfere with the adhesive, making it less effective and more prone to
lifting. If you need to remove hair, trimming or using a gentle hair removal method is ideal, as shaving with a razor could cause nicks or irritation.
Can I touch the adhesive?
It’s best to avoid touching the adhesive directly. The oils from your fingers can interfere with its stickiness, making it less effective and more likely to come loose. For a secure application, handle the strips by the backing and try not to touch the adhesive side.
Why is it important to avoid folds on the strips or skin during application?
Keeping both the strips and your skin smooth during application is key! Folds can lead to blisters or cause the adhesive to lift prematurely. Make sure to stretch your skin gently and apply the strips with minimal strain to achieve a smooth and secure fit.
How should I dress after applying the Sculpting Strips?
After applying the strips, give them about half an hour to fully adhere to your skin. During this time, be careful when dressing to prevent the edges from
lifting. A helpful tip is to gently rub some talcum powder around the edges of the strips to keep them from sticking to your clothes. Once the strips have absorbed your body heat and fully adhered, you’ll have less to worry about!
Why do the Sculpting Strips create ripples on my skin?
The ripples you see are actually a good sign! These slight waves appear because the strips gently lift the skin, boosting circulation and promoting better lymphatic drainage. This subtle lifting effect helps the strips work
their magic by encouraging your body’s natural processes to smooth and firm the skin. Think of the ripples as a signal that the strips are actively doing their job!
How long can I wear the Sculpting Strips at a time?
You can wear Sculpting Strips for up to 5 days—yes, really! They stay put through showers, workouts, and everyday activities, so you can keep living your best life while they work their magic. After 3-5 days, simply remove them and allow your skin a short break before reapplying.
Is there a recommended interval between applications?
Yep! For the best results, give your skin a 1-2 day breather between applications. It’s like giving your skin a little “me-time” to recharge and maximize those results.
How many times do I need to repeat the application to see significant results?
To achieve noticeable improvements, it's recommended to wear the strips for 3-5 days at a time, completing at least 5 consecutive applications for each
target area. This full course approach helps to effectively reduce problem areas and deliver long-lasting results.
Can I extend the course if I still see problem areas after the initial applications?
Absolutely! Everyone’s body responds differently, so if you still notice problem areas after completing the initial course, it’s perfectly okay to continue with more applications. Depending on your individual needs, you may
benefit from extending the course to achieve the desired results. Keep monitoring your progress, and adjust as needed!
What’s more important: How long I wear the strips or how often I use them?
Consistency is the name of the game! While wearing them for 3-5 days is awesome, the real magic happens when you use them regularly. Make Sculpting
Strips part of your routine, and watch those results shine!
Are there any things I should avoid while wearing the Sculpting Strips?
Yes, there are a few things to keep in mind to keep your Sculpting Strips secure and effective. Avoid using any lotions, oils, or skincare products on the areas where you’ll be applying the strips, as they can weaken the adhesive.
It’s best to stay away from direct heat sources like hair dryers or heaters, as well as saunas and jacuzzi’s, since the high temperatures can cause the adhesive to loosen. Also, be gentle when dressing and undressing to avoid rubbing or pulling on the edges, which could lead to lifting. Just follow these simple tips, and you’re good to go!
How long do the results from Sculpting Strips last?
After completing a full course of applications, the results can last for several months. To maintain these results, we recommend doing a maintenance routine every 3-4 months. Think of it as a simple refresh to keep your skin
looking firm, smooth, and toned over time!
I felt some itching after applying the product, am I allergic?
Mild itching can be normal as your skin gets used to having something new stuck to it. It usually goes away pretty quickly! However, if the itching lasts longer than 30 minutes straight, it could be a sign of mild irritation. In that case, it’s best to remove the strips and give your skin a break. If you’re
unsure, consulting a dermatologist is always a good idea to stay on the safe side.
Why does redness occur post-application?
Redness can happen for a few reasons! Sometimes, it’s due to removing the strips too quickly or applying them to skin that wasn’t cleaned properly beforehand. Redness can also occur simply because your skin needs a bit of time
to adjust to having something stuck to it. If you notice redness, give your skin a break for a few days, and consider using a soothing ointment to help it recover. Remember, gentle removal and clean, dry skin are key to preventing
irritation!
The strips come off at the ends or in the corners, is that normal?
It’s normal for the ends or corners to lift occasionally, especially if natural skin oils or friction from clothes cause the adhesive to loosen. If this happens, gently press the lifted edges back down. If a section won’t stick anymore, it’s okay to carefully trim off the loose pieces to keep the rest secure. To prevent this, make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying the strips, and try to avoid moving or stretching the area while dressing.
Why do I see small strings coming loose from the edges of the strips?
Since the Sculpting Strips are made with natural cotton, it’s normal for a few strings to occasionally loosen at the edges of the legs. This is just a
characteristic of the cotton material. If you notice any stray strings, simply trim them off carefully with a small pair of scissors. It won’t affect the
effectiveness of the strips, so you can keep using them as usual!
It hurts when I try and remove the product, what do I do?
No worries! If removing the strips feels a bit painful, try soaking the
entire area with some micellar water or baby oil. This will help loosen the adhesive, making it easier and more comfortable to peel off without pulling on your skin. Just be gentle and take your time!
